I have to two projects that are due tomorrow. I have a really long social studies project that I got about 3 weeks ago but I didn’t do it. It is an interesting project but it is extremely time consuming. I also have a science project due tomorrow but I have already handed it in early. So that is 1 thing that I don’t have to worry about. This week has been a really stressful week. I have tests or projects or quizzes every single day. I am extremely tired and I am planning on relaxing a bit in the weekend. So I am just waiting for tomorrow after school.

The new project is doing a video using pictures and videos. It is about a day in a person’s life. This video is going to be made using Windows Movie Maker. I am extremely nervous for this project and my project is not really looking in a good shape. The main problem is that I have a hard time working with pictures and do things with them. I am trying my best. I also have some extra credit from helping Ms. Lianne which is can use in this project if required. We are going to start working on the project from next week. Let’s see how this project goes. I really hope it all goes well.

GIMP has been great for the last couple of days. The last project of putting our face on an animal was just amazing. It was a great and fun project. It wasn’t hard. The pictures at the end looked really cool. They were all extremely weird. I have the head of a tiger on my body and I have also put my face on a monkey. These just took a little bit of concentration and focus. My next project is to put my face on a famous person or on a currency bill. I have been trying to do it in class this week but I wasn’t successful at it. This software has really attracted me and I am planning on doing more work with this software. 

Finally after a long time I have got the time to look over the certification courses available from Microsoft. I didn’t look at them very closely but the ideas look quite difficult. I am really hoping that I can take some courses over the summer. They have not been able to attract me completely but I am quiet attracted by the whole idea of e-learning. I would love to take classes if they don’t require me to attend a class and go to a special room. I will look more closely to these courses and decide on what course I want to take.

This is the new project we are working on. It was quite a different project and I have never done something like this before. In this project we have to take pictures and videos of some of the things that we do in our daily life. Unlike all the other projects this requires a lot of thinking and planning. I have worked with Belal on taking some videos and pictures. I am planning on working on putting this together as soon as possible because I have a feeling that this is going to be time consuming and hard for me. So let's just hope for the best and hope this project ends well just like all the other projects.

Today we went on a field visit to the school that we are going to help for the SAS community service club. We are planning on working on the computer lab. They need some computers and other tech items. I have talked to Mr. C if we can take some of the old computers and he said yes. This project is going to be a fun one and also this is the first time I am working on a project like this. I have never worked on a school project like this and I am quite excited about it. This project will be an experience for me to help other people in the community. I have always been interested in doing such projects and I have finally got the opportunity. I will do the best I can and help the community to the best of my ability.

LG Optimus Vu
LG launches its new Optimus Vu handset. This phone has a 1024x768 resolution, 5-inch IPS LCD display. It has a 1.5GHz dual core CPU, 8MP camera, LTE, 2080mAh battery and Android 2.3 in a slim 8.5mm thick frame. An upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich is expected within three months of its launch. It is currently scheduled for March on Korean carriers SK Telecom and LG

I am done with my GIMP project. It was a very interesting but time consuming project. I also used some of my common sense for doing the pictures. The tree project was very time consuming because I had to match the different shades in different areas. This project is going to help me edit many pictures that I always wanted to edit. Now I can delete unwanted items from my pictures and have my pictures the way I like it. GIMP is interesting software and I think more people should be introduced to it. This will save a lot of money for the people who just buy Adobe Photoshop for lots of money.

RIM to release BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0 on February 21st?
BlackBerry is planning on launching 2.0 software update for the PlayBook. There are rumors that it might get released on February 21st but it is note certain. It can be predicted that it will be released in February. So, if you were planning on buying a new tablet then wait for this awesome gadget with a native email client, address book, BlackBerry Bridge enhancements and social networking integration. All this for some people is a dream come true. 

Acer Iconia Tab A510
There are rumors that Acer's new tablet, the Iconia Tab A510 would be available in the market in April. It is an Android 4.0-sporting tablet. It comes with Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS, but there's no 3G or 4G. It is a ten-inch tablet. This product is expected to do quiet well in the market.
