I got my science test back. I was very excited to see that I got a good grade. I didn’t really expect a good grade in this test. It was a bit challenging and also it was a whole new complicated concept. We are also working on a social studies project now that is quiet interesting but very time consuming at the same time. We are given a couple of important events during the Roman period. We have to write a full diary including all the events. This is a bit challenging for me because I have a hard time thinking of different ways of how things can work. I am trying my best and I know at the end I will be proud of what I accomplish.

GIMP is the new software that we got introduced to this week. When I first started using it, it wasn’t fun at all. I got completely confused over the video and I wasn’t able to catch up on what was going on. The next day was the first time I went like this is quiet a cool software. I have always wanted Adobe Photoshop but my parents didn’t allow me to because I don’t really do a lot of photoshop and they didn’t want to spend money on something that I would never do. Now that I got introduced to this software I can do a lot of thing that I always wanted to do. This is going to be quiet interesting and I am really looking forward to more features in the software. I have used some of them but when I look at the options it just amazes me what kind of things I could do my pictures.

Today while I was coming back home I saw a couple of military armed vehicles in Carrefour. I was thinking what was going on. The whole situation seems to be quite tensed. I am wondering if there is secret planning of another revolution for something in Egypt. I don’t really want to see another revolution happen in Egypt because it is annoying for everyone. Schools go off and many other problems arise. This also hurts Egypt as well. The nation's economy is already really low. If they have more protests then it will go even lower. I don't really want to see the whole nation getting destroyed over a year. This is going to be very sad and this shouldn't happen as well. Let’s just hope everything stays normal and nothing goes wrong. 

Today we had the green living test. I scored a 90% on it. It is probably the highest in the class. I had worked quite a lot on it. So I am very happy and excited about how it went. Mr. C suggested that I should try to do the Microsoft courses as well. I am planning on doing that as soon as I get some free time. I had worked for 8 hours straight last night. It was quite tiring. I have never worked so hard at the same time. This is the first time ever I am doing this. It is tiring but it is also fun at the same time. You get the feeling of growing up and you feel more responsible when you do something like this. I don’t want to do it regularly but I should do it sometimes in a short period of time.

iPad 3 can be seen soon
The long wait for the new iPad seems to end. Some people are saying that. Every Apple fan is eagerly waiting for iPad 3. It is believed that Apple id going to announce it next month. It is expected that it will be announced first week of March at that popular Apple haunt, the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco. Let’s all just hope they actually launch their new tablet and all the Apple fans get what they want.

Apple vs. Samsung
Apple's case against the Samsung doesn’t seem to go well. Now even in Germany they lost their case to the Samsung Galaxy Tablet. The company requested for a preliminary ban against the Samsung Galaxy Tab. At the Dusseldorf Regional Court it was clearly said that there were differences found between both the devices. A same type of decision was announced in Munich this month as well.

There are some goals that I have been trying to accomplish since the beginning of the year. I have been trying very hard to be better in language arts and social studies. These are the two subjects that I have to work really hard on. These are the two subjects where my weakness affects me. I am a really bad person when it comes to using literature skills. So in this semester I will try to improve my language arts skills and memorize things better for social studies. These are the only main subjects where I am struggling at. If I can improve these two grades greatly then it is going to be very helpful for me in the second semester. This is going to increase my semester GPA and that means quite a lot to me.

We are finally going to finish the green living project. Our notes are due this Tuesday. We are going to take the test on Thursday. I am really excited about it. This is the first time I am going to something like this. I have never attempted a online course before. I am planning on doing more courses if this goes well. I really want that diploma because I find it extremely cool and interesting. Also since it is a free class I have to worry about anything. I am just completely relaxed and writing my notes. I have my fingers crosses for Thursday’s test.

I finally got my Social Studies final back. I got a 99% on it which was really unexpected. I was extremely nervous for this test. I was not really prepared for it. I am very happy that she liked them I am very happy with my final scores. They weren’t as good as I wanted them to be but they were satisfying. I am willing for better scores in the second semester. I think that the scores that I got were the ones that I deserved. 

This is the first week i have started this project. when i first started it i was very much into the work but then i got lazy. i really had a hard time to keep up with the work. this just means that i have to do a lot of work in the weekend. i am very happy that we are doing something like that. this is just an oppurtinuity for me to learn more things. i am planning on doing more online courses if i get more free time (which is probably going to be in the summer).
