This was probably the best sports day I ever had in Schutz. When I first saw my team I wasn’t extremely excited but on the day of the sports day is was extremely excited and happy that I was with this team. We had a great time with our captain Nehal. Even though we didn’t win in the sports day, the time we had was great. I was simply astonished by how much our team worked in each station and with the effort they were all putting in. Even the small kids did their best and tried to do all that they can. It was great feeling working with the little kids and trying to get them to work together. I wish every sports day is like this.

SMS 2 911
Verzion took the initiative this week and announced its own plans to allow text messages to be sent to 911 for its customers. Working with TeleCommunication Systems, sending of messages to emergency call-centers is going to be available as early 2013. Texting isn't just about adding communication options.  It is also a valuable tool to the deaf, hard of hearing and situations where talking is dangerous, or not possible. The service will use existing CDMA and SMS networks, and therefore should be available to all customers once finally rolled out.

Finally the weekend is here. Although this weekend is probably going to be the worst weekend I am ever going to have in my life. I have 3 projects and 1 test due next week, most of it I have to finish in the weekend because I don’t really get a lot of time during the week. We also have sports day tomorrow. This is an advantage because I don’t have to worry about doing my homework in the weekend. I can probably finish it all today and focus mostly on the projects in the weekend. Now it really feels that the year is coming to an end. Everyone is assigning quiet a good amount of work. I think this is normal and I sort of expected it to happen since us now in high school and the expectations should be quiet high like this. 

The new software that we got introduced is called OneNote. It is amazing. What we are doing now focuses mainly on re-coping notes. Although in the future I am thinking about using it for my classes. I knew about software like this before but this is the first time I am using it. So far I am extremely pleased with it. This is going to save some of time during the final because I type some things that I am just typing now. If I was introduced to this before then I could have used it more and get more assignments done but better late than never. So everyone who used this knows how good it is and all the people who didn’t yet please go ahead and use it. I am sure you will like it.

We have sports day this week. I didn’t even know that we had sports day this year. I think this is mainly because we didn’t get calendars this year. I am in the green team. I am not extremely excited about my team. It doesn’t consist of anyone from my class. Even though I don’t have anyone from my class but there are people that I am really good friends with. I am always excited for sports day. It is a day that is free but with a lot of exercise. This gives us a chance to get some exercise done. Also it is a great time to get together with people you don’t see often.

Technology is extremely important for my future. The period we are living is a kind of a period when new technology is brought in front of the market every day. So it is very important for us to keep up with technology because if we don’t then we might just end up being backdated. This can lead to various different problems in your social, personal and professional life. I don’t want this to happen to my life so I am not really willing to take any risks with this.  I am trying my level best to keep up with the latest technology available in the market and I am willing to do the same in the future as well.

This is the first long week we have after quiet a long time. It has been quiet a nice week so far with not a lot of work. I am happy with the amount of work i am receiving from the teachers. It is not really a lot. Although I have a feeling that it is going to raise soon. I am working a lot harder than I did in the last quarter. I was very nervous for my report card but it turned out to be a pretty satisfying one. I still didn’t reach my goal of a GPA of 4.3 yet and I am looking forward to it in this quarter. I am working really hard to reach that goal of mine. It would be a really nice thing if I actually meet that goal this quarter. It is the last quarter of my first year in high school and there can be nothing better than reaching a goal that i set for me 3 years ago. So I am really looking forward to it and I hope I can make it.

I have finally decided what I think my dream jobs are. My first option is to become a doctor, then chef and then a flying car inventor. I have thought a lot before taking these decisions. All of these jobs match some of my abilities. By doing this project it really helped me to decide what kind of a career I might have in my near future. This kind of project was very important. This showed my strong points and my weak points. Now I know what kind of a job I am going to be good at and what kind of a job is not my cup of tea. Although I still have almost three years before I have to start planning my career path but still it is good to think about something as important as career from before.
